The Journey of a Movement tends to be marked by clear stages.

1. The Core Concept

A dominant personality or leaders introduce an innovative concept pledging a solution for alienated and vulnerable people.

Thus we find ourselves. They’re getting ready to storm the compound overseas. Tensions are rising. Signs of trouble appear from the out-houses. An isolated player, naked, nervous, the words HIGH RELEASE POINT written on his body in chicken blood, has emerged into view and is taken aside under a blanket to a different team in county cricket.

Remember the early days, when everything was fresh? The days of Bazball 1.0, of pure instinct.

2. The Honeymoon Phase

Movement founders promise a fresh beginning, optimism ahead, love, redemption within a community with shared faith in the philosophy.
